Working an AML Case

Once you run a case, you then need to adjudicate the hits. If a case has any potential hits, they will appear with the number of hits inside a red bubble. If a case has no hits, it will show up as 0 potential hits. If your risk screening profile is configured to auto-close cases with no potential hits, you do not need to take any action on those cases.

  1. Navigate to the iComplyKYC tab at the top. On the side panel, click Case Management.

2. Click on the case that is in Open status and needs to be worked on.

3. Scroll down to the Potential Match Filtering section to see which risk types were flagged during the search.

4. Under the Matches section, view the potential hit details such as Name, Type, Relevance, Countries, Risk Type, and Results.

5. Adjudicate the hits from this screen at a high level or click on the hit to dive deeper and see the web sources linking you to the hit.

6. Action all the hits by Accepting, Rejecting, or Marking them as Unknown.

7. Once all hits are actioned, close the case.
