Risk scoring rules help automate the risk assessment by assigning scores based on predefined criteria. Admins set these rules to prioritize high-risk entities for further scrutiny and ensure efficient risk management within the platform.
By default, there are no predefined customized rules. There are 3 rule types to set the criteria for Risk Scoring:

Subject is from: Allows for Jurisdiction based rules

Subject has a case with risk type: Allows for rules based on Risk Types

Subject has KYC Status: Allows for rules based on KYC Statuses
We highly recommend setting rules for high and medium-risk jurisdictions.
To add a new Risk Scoring Rule to the platform follow these steps:
- Navigate to Administration, on the side panel, click Compliance Settings then click Risk Scoring.
3. Select which rule you want to add (From, Risk Type, or KYC Status).
4. Choose whether you want to Add or Subtract Points.
5. Choose the Number of Points to Add or Subtract for this rule.
6. If adding a rule for high-risk jurisdiction choose the Jurisdictions you want the rule to apply to.
7. Turn the Status to Active.
8. Click Save when done.
9. Next, you want to set your Risk Level Assignment. Choose the Range of Points for each Risk Level.
