Live ID Capture

The Live ID Capture feature lets portal users capture a photo of their government-issued ID directly on their device, rather than uploading a pre-existing image. This provides a smoother and more secure verification process while ensuring the ID is current and accurately captured.

Important: Live ID Capture is optional. Users who do not use this feature can continue submitting IDs through the upload method.

How It Works

1. User Access: When completing verification via the portals, users are prompted to use Live ID Capture.

2. Real-Time ID Capture: Instead of uploading a pre-existing image, the user uses their device camera to take a photo of their ID (passport, driver’s license, or national ID).

3. Secure Submission: The captured image is securely transmitted for verification.

This process ensures that the ID image is taken in real-time, reducing the risk of outdated or incorrect documents.

Enabling Live ID Capture

To enable Live ID Capture in your portal:

1. Click Administration on the top right corner, followed by selecting Portal Management on the left sidebar.

2. Select the portal you want to enable the Live ID capture for.

3. Navigate to Modules.

4. Expand the Document Verification Module.

 

5. Toggle Live ID Capture to Enabled.

 

6. Save your changes.

 

Once enabled, users will have the ability to capture their ID live during the verification process.
